Russia’s growth fuels construction boom
INTERtunnel 2007 will take place in Pavilion 8 at Expocentr Moscow, from 27-29 November 2007.

C
reating the infrastructure to support economic growth is a high priority for Russia and for many of its neighbours. Tunnelling is a key element of the major construction boom that is meeting this demand. Expansion of the highways network, the building or expansion of metro networks in major cities and the creation of oil and gas pipelines are all boosting the market for tunnelling and trenchless construction equipment and technologies.

Development of Russia’s infrastructure – roads, railways, metros and public utilities – is leading to increasing tunnelling activity. To serve this growing market, INTERtunnel 2007 will provide a showcase for suppliers of tunnel construction machinery, products and services, and for the equipment needed to fit out and operate tunnels, such as lighting, communications, safety and security systems.
